Inter Faith Week 2009 - Inter Faith Eisteddfod!

In 2009 the first national 'Inter Faith Week' took place in Wales and England. Wales took a brave step and with the support of funding from the Welsh Assembly Government held the first Inter faith Eisteddfod, a festival on the purposely broad theme of 'Storytelling' where religious groups were invited to celebrate together and sharing the sacred through the arts. For more information on what happened in Wales click here or nationally see www.interfaithweek.org.uk

Building Good Community Relations - Interfaith Consultations

The Inter-faith Council for Wales worked on a project from January to April 2010 with the Equality and Human Rights Commission and the Community Development Foundation to help build capacity for interfaith work in Wales. Consultation events were held across Wales and a Wales Interfaith Network has been created to help share knowledge and experience of interfaith activities.  Click here for more details.
